This week was awesome! And as always filled with embarrassing moments so here is your weekly dose of Sister Seibert embarrassing herself.
Tuesday started off with Sister Mcarthur and I going to a relief society activity which was cooking club. But when they announced it in Sunday I'm pretty sure they said cooking class and to bring something with red (even if it was just sprinkled in) to share. So I didn't want to show up empty handed and thought it was a dessert thing so iiii brought Coco Krispies with red sprinkles but it was cooking cLUb so everyone else brought uber fancy dishes to share and everyone was sitting down and complimenting each others stuff and asking for recipes. No one asked for my recipe. I can't figure out why
Valentines day was fun. Sister Slade made heart pancakes before I had to go to the dr. In the pics you can see my claw- just like my uncle Reed. Sister Mcarthur and I went to Miami to get a cast and it was a children's Dr. so we walked in and the waiting room and it was filled with kids with casts so that was also embarrassing. But I got a cool cast so it's all good.
Yesterday one of the ladies from our ward came our knocking with us then took us out to dinner which was really fun. She got the full missionary experience- people saying they weren't interested, people shaking their finger no through the door(my personal fave), and a man just telling us all he thought was wrong with this country for close to an hour.
This morning the missionaries in our zone went to the pier to watch the sunrise which was so fun and beautiful! We had homemade breakfast burritos after at a park which was also really fun. And we also played kickball and I was the pitcher bc I couldn't really do anything else but I ended up catching one of the elders kicks! Which surprised everyone including myself haha.
I challenge all of you to do a simple act of service for someone you love today! There's a lot of bad in the world but we can still do good! :)
I love you all and hope you have a great week!
Love,
Sister Seibert
